Hi all,
My name is Brian Kirkland and I am a tyre enthusiast! It all started for me when I was 6 years old seeing my first truck, the sheer noise and size of the wheels knocked my socks off. This experience led me down the path to an engineering job at Michelin where my knowledge and love of the motor vehicle tyre simply grew. As you can tell by my photo, that was a long time ago! I am pleasently informed that you are only as old as the lady you feel. Sadly my wife is 70 in December! (dont tell her I said that please!)
Fast-forward 40 or so years and I am now a retired man, “You should make a website” my nephew Stuart suggested “What about?” I replied. “You should write about your passion” he said, and thus with the great help from my nephew this site is born. I will write about all the different tyres I am interested in and I will keep all the technical jargon to Stuart.

@Peter – I have sent you a list of really good deals out there at the moment, my advice would be to contact a few retailers and haggle a good price from them.
